it was to get my hubby Rick and my mom together last week for a morning of painting! Mom and I have done it on numerous occasions, but Rick was off that day and he wanted to join us. He has always wanted to paint but between work and golf getting in the way, he never has gotten around to it until now! He loves art - modern and bold. He was actually an art major for a whole semester in college - didn't like the fact you had to take english, math and other classes as well! Mom and I worked on some small projects but Rick decided for his first painting, to do a 48x48! Jeez...talk about a challenge! Anyway, it was a refreshing way to spend a morning I can tell you. I will post his finished piece as soon as it's finished...he's off this week and is determined to get through...

Oh dear, I can see the painting you made me in that last one! I can't wait for it to arrive! Oh and change your mini photo! The one you have up is nice when it's big but doesn't look great at this tiny size -- it looks like you're about to cry! Love ya! -scott
you are so funny!!! that is too cool you can see your painting! i didn't even pay attention! i added hangers both directions so you could hang it either way...it should get to you by Tuesday. I tried to fix the photo (I usually don't have trouble with that!) but it keeps blurring when i shrink it! You can email me with suggestions! love u!

oh mick, i really appreciate the "cool" compliment from you two - you're the cool ones! i pretty much go non-stop but i enjoy it all - you guys should be doing the same with your talents! my bro should get his painting today...hope it's in one piece!! thanks for commenting and hope to see you guys soon! kelly
